HART, William Chester, CD (MWO, retired), Truro/Halifax, NS March 17, 1923 - September 22, 2014, died in Camp Hill Memorial Building, Halifax, NS. William "Chester" was born in Frizzelton (Margaree Valley, CB) to the late Chipman and Isabel (Fraser) Hart. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for many years in Food Services. His postings included England, Italy, Egypt, France and Germany and many other military bases within Canada. He is survived by his son Athol, Ontario, brother, Everett, Inverness and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Eldred (Woodroof), infant daughter, brothers Fulton, Tom, Sanford, Seward, Nelson, and sisters Florence and Eva May. Burial has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 2 PM, Saturday, September 27, 2014, Truro Heights Baptist Church, Truro, NS, Pastor Greg Porter officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the QEII Foundation Veterans Memorial Garden, Truro Heights Baptist Church, Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc. of Canada, Crandall University, Gideons International of Canada or charity of your choice. Special thanks to the staff of V6W Camp Hill whose dedication and care during his time at Camp Hill was greatly appreciated.
