WHITNEY(nee STONE), Ruby 1934 - 2014 It is with great sadness that the family of Ruby Whitney of Spruce Grove, AB, announce her passing on August 3, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Ruby is survived by her daughters Gail (Bernie) McLaughlin and Valerie (Karl) Tappauf; her seven step-children; brothers Bill Stone, Lloyd (Georgina) Stone; sisters Margaret Osborne, Pauline Richards, Judy Goodwin; sister-in-law Ann Mowatt; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. Ruby was predeceased by her husband Willis; brothers Gordon Stone and Murray Stone. A memorial service will be held on 11am Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2 Shubenacadie. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital, 8440 - 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2B7.
