ARCHIBALD, Gary Samuel Vincent 60, Debert passed away suddenly May 1, 2014 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Samuel and Blanche (MacDonald) Archibald. Gary was an excellent pool player. He enjoyed music and loved playing the guitar. He loved sports cars and going for drives with his son and close friends. His favorite car was the Monte Carlo. Gary was extremely personable, he always had a kind word for everyone. He made you feel special, which is why he had so many friends. Gary had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He is survived by son Gary Jr, stepson Roddy, stepdaughter Trina, sister Linda (Phil) Irving, brother James, step-sister Peggy, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a twin brother Gerry in infancy. Cremation has taken place, a funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Interment will follow in the MacDougall Cemetery, South Maitland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
