TOVEY, Sally Louise - born in Reading, England, February 19th, 1948, passed peacefully on the 3rd of January, 2025 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, after a heroic battle with Parkinson's. She is survived by loving sons, Zachary and Ross, and husband of 55 years, Keith.

Sally was a beautiful, quiet (unless in traffic or watching Liverpool FC) and incredibly strong lady. Moving to a new country and raising two children during long absences of her husband while he served away in the Navy was taken in stride.

Although inflicted with Parkinson's at an early age, she never complained and fought bravely until the very end.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, the OJ dinner club in whose company she spent many a joyful culinary night and sunny vacations.

There will be a celebration of life service on the 26th of January, 2025, 2 -4pm, at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N 2A0.
