DOYLE, Marie Evangeline- 81, born in Springhill, NS November 14, 1932, passed away suddenly April 12, at home in Indian Brook, with family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Katie Paul Thomas. She is survived by her brothers, Vincent Toney, Frank Thomas and Leonard Brooks; her son, Chief Rufus Copage, Indian Brook; daughters Sharon Copage and Sheila Dorey, Indian Brook; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several godchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Alexander P. Doyle, Jr (Bumpkin); husband, Alexander P Doyle, Sr. (Bibba); brothers, Leander Doyle and Richard Paul. She loved animals, hunting, fishing, yard sales, and VLT's. She enjoyed reading, Bingo, watching The Shopping Channel, and loved Young Riders ("The Boys"), and Heartland. She was a foster mother for many years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will begin at 1pm, Monday, April 14 at 380 Robinson Road, Indian Brook. Funeral service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, April 16, at Saint Kateri Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Fr. Tom Kurudeepan, OMI officiating. Interment will be in St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Cemetery with a Salite to be held following the interment. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
