WAUGH-REID, Margaret – Age 64, of Truro, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024

in Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the

late Peter and Barbara Waugh.

Margaret was an introvert, artistic, a naturalist, kind-hearted and generous. She firmly

believed in protecting all creatures and the environment. She was an avid gardener as

was evident by her beautiful floral garden each year. During the long winter months, she

produced very fine needle point projects some of which were passed on to family and

friends. She delighted in her cats’ antics; watching birds at the feeders; and deer and

other wildlife grazing on the property.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter, Rhonda; and family and friends at

various distant locations across the country.

She was predeceased by her brother, Allan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ettinger Funeral Home. Cremation has taken

place.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8 th , from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Ettinger

Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.
