STUART, David John, “Raccoon”, age 68, of Lantz, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loved ones.  Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Jock and Pauline Stuart. 

David had a great sense of humour.  He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, who was totally dedicated to his family. 

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Susan; daughters Michelle Doherty, Lisa (Ken) Smith and Andrea Stuart; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Sheila (Ed) Hull; Brenda Stuart (Doug); brothers Dennis (Monica) Stuart and Colin (Marina) Stuart; many nieces and nephews.  David was never seen without his sidekick, Jax.

 Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Greg Doherty.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Elmsdale.  A Celebration of David’s Life will be held from 1 – 4pm, Wednesday April 12, in Ettinger Funeral Home, Elmsdale.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
