Obituary of Andy Butler

BUTLER, Andrew Duncan – age 64 of Enfield, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2023 in the VG Site, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born Shawinigan, Quebec, he was a son of the late Andrew and Claudette (Boisvert) Butler.

Andy’s favourite summer pastime was driving on his motorcycle with his wife with a trailer in tow to go camping. He enjoyed working in his garage and was a “Mr. Fix It”. He was meticulous with his tools and had a place for everything. Andy could fix anything – he had a knack for figuring things out. He loved music and wasn’t afraid to sing along even though he couldn’t carry a note. Andy volunteered with The Rotary Club for many years lending his tools, talent and skills. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Andy is survived by his wife, Rebecca; children, Kristina (Robert) and Andrew; granddaughters, Katherine and Allison; his dog, Penny.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Elmsdale. No service by request.
