Obituary of Harvey Hurshman

HURSHMAN, Harvey Allen Thomas: It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Harvey Allan Thomas Hurshman, 72, of Antrim, on January 3, 2014. Harvey was the son of the late William (Bill) and Ethel Hurshman, Dutch Settlement. He will be sadly missed by daughter, Sharon (Ellis) Burke, St. Peters; sons, Russell, Vancouver, Jeff (Joanna), Manitoba, Kenneth (Kelly), Belnan; stepdaughter Donna (David) Bent; 8 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen (Kay) Card, Lantz, Jean (Willard) Hiltz, sister in law, Agnes Hurshman, both of Dutch settlement; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Marla (Ross) and second wife, Joan (Hatton); brother, Kenneth, and brother in law George Card. Harvey loved his family, music, and playing his guitar. Harvey was a retired truck driver and worked in various companies. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.
