Bonnie Lee Blair Obituary

BLAIR, Bonnie Lee "Bonnee"– age 73 of North River, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2022, in Cumberland Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Howard Dewar and Rita (Marr) Jordan.


Bonnie was a professional bar tender for many years before she went back to school to become a nurse for the Victorian Order of Nurses. She took great pride in her work as a nurse and cared very much for all her patients. Bonnie was a kind and caring person with the biggest heart. She was very giving and would do anything to help anybody in need.


She is survived by her stepfather, John; sister, Deborah; niece, Hannah (Shawe) Nasr; great nieces, Victoria, Kamilah and Rachel; brother, Dale; stepmother, June Dewar; nephew, Chayce.


Besides her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Gary.


Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
