McManaman, Michael Elton “Mick” – age 72 of Upper Nine Mile River, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late Elton and Emily (Emerson) McManaman.

Mick loved to be on the golf course with his son, Andy, but photography, laughing, rock n’roll & meat n’ potatoes were a close second. He was a simple but very sharp man; he knew a lot about everything. He retired a couple of years ago & covid took away his chances to golf while he was still healthy; “Screw you Covid!”, were his words regarding this. We’ll miss the smile in your eyes & love you forever Dad!!! 

Mick is survived by his daughter, Jessica McManaman (Devon Chafe); son, Andrew McManaman (Melissa Mosher); grandchildren, Julie, Kasey, Parker, Declan and Georgia.

We’d like to thank the “neighborhood” for looking out for him. He had a village in the end!

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No service by request.
