Obituary of Grant Lively

LIVELY, Harold “Grant”, age 71, of Maitland, Hants County, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2022, in the Victoria General Hospital Site, QEII HSC, Halifax.  Born in South Maitland, he was a son of the late Henry and Dot (Laffin) Lively.

He is survived by wife, Judy (Ettinger); son, Grant; daughter, Darlene; brother Murray (Judy), Ontario; brother in-law, Wayne Waller; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Earl; sisters, Mae, Edith, Joan, Evelyn and Ethel.

Cremation has taken place, an informal celebration of life gathering will be held 2-4pm Friday June 24, 2022 in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.  A graveside committal service will follow in South Maitland Community Cemetery, Rev. Larry Harrison officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
