Obituary of Bob Gallant

GALLANT, Robert Joseph “Bob” – age 81, of Halifax, passed away at the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Summerside, PEI, he was a son of the late Millicent (Perry) Hogan and Joseph Gallant. 
Bob was an active volunteer with the CNIB for many years. He will be missed by the Out-of-Sight.net community, where he served as President and spent countless hours chatting with friends from all over the world. Bob was a proud, loving grandfather to his two grandchildren who will miss him very much.
Bob is survived by his son, Christopher (Jennifer); grandson, Evan; granddaughter, Ella; sister, Gail (Daniel) Avery; brother, Richard (Edwina) Hogan; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carol Ann (Parnell) Gallant; stepfather, Lou Hogan; brothers, Gordon, Frederick, Ralph and Graham Gallant, step-sister, Jacqueline Kleykens.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Tuesday April 26, 2022 at Ettinger Funeral Home, 860 Highway 2, Elmsdale.
