DILLMAN, John Lewis, 64- Lantz, passed away suddenly December 15, 2013 at home. Born in Carroll's Corner, he was a son of the late Lester and Hazel (Preeper) Dillman. He was employed with Parks & Grounds for the city of Halifax for over thirteen years. He loved hunting and fishing and his grandchildren. He enjoyed horses and gardening. He is survived by his wife Beverly (Ettinger); son, Bobbylee (Dorothy); daughter Rubyann, 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Clarence, Jimmy and Henry; sisters Ruth Hatton and Shirley (Lionel) Crocker. He was predeceased by daughter, Pamela Jean, sister, Ethel, brother, Beldon and niece, Amanda. Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, from where a funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, Lori Crocker DM officiating. Spring interment will be in Gays River Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
