Amy Lantz Obituary

LANTZ, Amy- age 93 of Enfield, passed away December 7, 2013. A resident of Lantz, she previously lived in Truro and North Sydney. Born at Grand Lake, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Hilda (Osborne) Shackleton. She was a housekeeper for Col. and Mrs. Laurie for many years in Oakfield. She enjoyed the company of her family and friends. Surviving are daughters, Marie Ashley and Deanna (Robert) Ingraham; stepchildren, Malcolm (Yvette) Lantz, Ladysmith, BC, Anne Lewis, Sydney, Charles "Butch" (Valerie), Balls Creek, Hector (Sharon), North Sydney, George (Yvonne), Truro; sisters, Mary Isenor, Helen Smiley; brother, George (Marjorie) Shackleton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, George and her first husband, Russell Isenor. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Memorial service will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Oakfield with burial in St. Margaret's Cemetery, Rev. David Chapman presiding.
