Obituary of Una Lucille Isenor

ISENOR, Una Lucille – age 87 of Enfield, formerly of Dutch Settlement, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Dutch Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Nettie (Isenor) Ashley.

Una enjoyed bingo, washer toss, playing cards and family get togethers. She especially enjoyed her trips to Florida with Ron.

She will be sadly missed by daughter, Heather (Tom); son, Todd; brother, Stelman “Tim” (Peggy) Ashley; sisters, Rowena (Kenny), Sibley, Sylvia “Honey” (Mike) Laycock, Sheila (Ronnie) MacKenzie; brother-in-law, Walter Dickie; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Ron; sister Bernice Dickie; sister-in-law, Shirley Barr; brother-in-law, Norman Barr; nephew, Sheldon Ashley.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A graveside committal service will be held 2pm Tuesday, February 15 2022, at St. George’s Columbarium, Dutch Settlement, Canon David Fletcher officiating. COVID-19 protocols must be adhered to; proof of double vaccination and a government issued ID must be shown to attend, masks must be worn.

The family would like to thank the paramedics, ER staff at Colchester East Hants Health Centre and the staff on E3 for their care and compassion.
