Obituary of Diane Robertson

ROBERTSON, Diane Carol - 59, Belnan, passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2013, surrounded by her family. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Dorothy Voege and the late John Gagne. Diane had a great passion for gardening and bingo, she also had a place in her heart for all animals. Diane fought the good fight, she was stubborn to the end. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by her husband Steve and daughter Angela (Sean); sons Jimmy, Jeffrey (Robin), and Peter; grandchildren Jessica, Jeffrey, Kodi, Emily, Kiera, Alex, Ashten and Ben; sisters Ann-Marie, Helen, Barbara, Jean and Susan; brother Teddy; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by step-father, Ted Voege, brother, Robert-Paul, in infancy and her faithful pet, Midge. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8pm Friday, in the Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday in the Elmsdale Baptist Church, 512 Highway 2, Elmsdale, Pastor Michael Trites officiating. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to Colchester-East Hants Palliative Care. The family would like to thank Palliative Care team for helping us with keeping Diane at home.
