Obituary of Joan Hannah Roberts

Roberts, Joan Hannah (Dort) Dear family and friends, if you are reading this you know I am no longer here but in my spiritual body with my folks, Evelyn Emily (Hare) and Charles Dort and our first born, Hope Darlene. I leave behind VanEssa Lea Roberts (Keddy) Chateau Village, Windsor, and Vaun Lynette Roberts-Norton (Larry), Fall River, and our most precious grand-daughter Emily Irene Gwyneth Norton, and of course my soul mate and partner of 56 years, “my Welsh gentleman”, Robbie. I enjoyed my life in Maitland, our friends here and there, and my beautiful dog, Molly. Cremation has taken place and my ashes will be laid with my parents in Mount Herman, Dartmouth, during a family burial. “Goodbye my family, my life is past I loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me, but courage take, Love each other, for my sake. For those who love don’t go away They walk beside you every day.” Joan’s family wish to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Palliative Care unit at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, who took such wonderful care of mom during her last week. Mom passed away peacefully on September 25 after a brief illness.
