Obituary of Reginald Charles Preston

PRESTON, Reginald Charles "Reg" 75 of Enfield passed away May 22, 2016 in the Halifax Infirmary Site of the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Charles and Grace (Stewart)Preston. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Reg graduated from St. George's University in Montreal. He retired from Nova Scotia Power after 26 years of service. Reg enjoyed woodworking and designed and built the home that he and Shirley lived in. He was a loving husband and caring father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley, son Charles MacDonald Preston, daughter Deanna Lynne (Barry) Forrest, grandchildren James Daniel Forrest and Gracie-Lynne Forrest, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Ruth, Margaret, Isabel and Janet and a brother George. Cremation has taken place, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
