Obituary of Mary Yvonne Knockwood

KNOCKWOOD, Mary Yvonne – age 76 of Indian Brook, passed away April 4, 2016 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Madge Sark and George Francis. She kept active and enjoyed walking, especially with her late granddaughter Debra. She enjoyed yoga and her pets. Mary cherished spending time with family and was a kind friend to many. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Donna (fiance, Eugene Peters); son, Vaughn, Mission, BC, Brian, Vancouver, BC, Robert, Pictou Landing, Roddie, Millbrook, Colin (Catherine), Lower Sackville; grandchildren Ellie, Jessie and many more grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Martha (Joey) Francis and Louise Knockwood; brothers Jacob, Danny and Mike; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son Mike Knockwood, daughter Debbie Knockwood and granddaughter Debra. Visitation will be held after 11am Thursday April 7, at 20 Poplar Street, Indian Brook. Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, April 9, 2016 in St. Kateri Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook. Cremation to follow, interment will take place in Lennox Island at a later date.
