AIKENS- MILLER, Ada Florence - 85, Middle Musquodoboit, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2013 in Braeside Home for Special Care. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late James and Lorna (Jennings) Pickles. She was musically inclined and was known for her love of music. Ada loved animals especially cats and dogs. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by six children, 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; two brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Robert Aikens, second husband Eugene Miller, brother Stanley Pickles. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation by request. A graveside service will be held 1 pm, Wednesday June 19, 2013 in Hillside Cemetery, Middle Musquodoboit, Rev. Annika Sangster officiating.
