Obituary of Edward Roy Fraser

FRASER, Edward Roy – age 70 of Lantz, formally of Milford, passed away on February 28th, 2024 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Edward was born in Middle Musquodoboit to the late Roy and Pauline (Holman) Fraser on July 12th, 1953. He worked as a Dairy Herdsman for Carl Grant Farm Limited for 40 plus years. He also enjoyed his many trips to Cuba.

Edward is survived by his sisters, Jean (Ross) Dares, Middle Musquodoboit; Karen Fraser, Lantz; Joan MacDonald (Gerald Halverson), Pugwash; brother, Jeff (Louise) Fraser, Hunter River, PEI; nephew, Damian Halverson, Ponoka, Alberta.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held at 2 - 4 pm on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A private burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery, Milford. Rev. Gerry Kerr officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Cedarstone Enhanced Care (Chappell Court) for their excellent care that they provided to Edward.
