Obituary of Trevor Owen Tracey
TRACEY, Trevor Owen – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Trevor, 53, in Dartmouth General Hospital on June 30th, 2023. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Lester and Faustina Tracey.
Trevor was a member of Sipekne’katik First Nation. He had two great passions, his family and living life to the fullest.
Trevor is loved by siblings, Sharon (Terry) Seaboyer, Doris (Randy Fulton) Melvin, Kevin (Teanne Carpenter) Tracey, Brenda Tracey, Darryl (Annie) Tracey. A doting uncle to his nephews and nieces, Jeffrey, Tobin, Laura, Carly, and Marcus; three great nephews and a great niece; his soulmate, Kate Nelson (and her children, Ethan and Avery). Trevor will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Trevor’s Life will be held from 11 AM until 3 PM Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 160, 703 Main St. Dartmouth, NS.
A private family burial will take place in New Brunswick at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to the Atlantic Cancer Consortium.
