Obituary of Lorraine Theresa Blois

BLOIS, Lorraine Theresa – age 81, of Enfield, passed away peacefully at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on December 20, 2018.  Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Effie (Stubbert) Duffy.

Lorraine enjoyed using her sewing, quilting and weaving skills to create beautiful items for her friends and family.  She also enjoyed curling and cooking.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Ernie; daughter, Toni Blois; son, Charles Blois; grandchildren, Chris Blois, Courtney Blois, Aaron Evans and Adam Evans; several great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Marshall, Barbara Dunnington and Elizabeth Duffy; numerous nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was predeceased by brothers, Timothy, Daniel and Terrance, as well as Charles, who died at a young age.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home.  A celebration of life will be held 11am Friday, December 28, 2018 in Ettinger Funeral Home, Father Michael Walsh officiating.  Reception to follow in the funeral home hospitality area.  Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Columbarium, Enfield.

No flowers please, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation.

The family would like to thank the VON as well as the doctors and staff at the Elmsdale Medical Centre for the care and compassion shown to Lorraine.
