Obituary of Clara Odessa Hines

HINES, Clara Odessa - 5 days short of her 95^th birthday, of East Noel, passed away on November 19 at the home of her son Gary and daughter-in-law Brenda, in Fall River.

Clara was born in Moosebrook to Arthur and Lucy (McCulloch) Laffin. She was a teacher for 30 plus years and was also a Life Member of the Order of Eastern Star, Scotia Chapter No. 49 in Musquodoboit Harbour.

Clara is survived by her sons, Paul (Jeannette), Ottawa; Gary (Brenda), Fall River; and daughter, Debra, Musquodoboit Harbour: two granddaughters, Tara (Tyler) Cope, and Melanie (John) Fait, both of Ottawa; four great grandchildren, Max, Freya, Emerson, and Reid; brother Eric, Welland, ON.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alworth; brothers, Jehu, Marsden and Mac; sisters, Thelma and Mary.

There will be no visitation or service by request. Interment will take place at a later date.
