Obituary of Lola May Walker

Obituary of Lola Walker WALKER (Dorey) Lola May-Lola passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2018 at the age of 91. She lived in Stewiacke but was born in Bedford on February 25, 1926. She was a daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Gibbons) Dorey. Her family moved to Stewiacke when she was 10 years old. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and the UCW until it closed. She became a member of St. James Anglican Church. She was also a member of the Rebecca Lodge. She is survuved by her grandson, Robert; sisters, Vera, Maxine (Edward) Harpell; daughter in-law, Loretta; step grandsons, Kevin and Keith; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; son, Rick; sisters, Hilda, Eleanor, Annie, and brother, Eric. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. By her request there will be no visitation. Graveside service will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fort Ellis, in the spring. Donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Cemetery, St. James Church or charity of choice.
