MacDONALD (Miller), Judith Ann “Judy”- age 59, of Lantz passed away peacefully October 29, 2016 at home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her wife, children and her little dog Kayce – who constantly stayed by her side. Born in Grostenquin, France, she was a daughter of the late John and Lois MacDonald. In 2006 she met the love of her life, Cindy, whom she married in 2008. Judy worked at Dalhousie University, Hardware Services as a computer technician. She loved to ride her motorcycle and was a former member of the Salt Water Retreads, NS Chapter. She took pride in her beautiful lawn, spending hour upon hour until every weed was gone. Judy had a true passion for technology and would assist people with their computers or devices often without payment for her work. She had a love for animals and unknown to many, she was a trained animal care technician. Judy’s artistic flair was evident in her ceramic creations which were displays of perfection. She loved her wife, children and grandchildren very much. She will be sadly missed by her wife, Cindy Miller, son Joey (Mary) Dulong, Grand Prairie, Alberta; daughter Krista (Jason) Flynn, Enfield; stepsons Brad O’Brien, Lantz; Brock O’Brien, Shubenacadie; grandchildren Seth and Jayce Dulong, Kayla Steeves and Noah Flynn; step grandchildren Abby, Madisyn, Sophie, Amelia, Mason and Maylin. She is survived by her twin brother John, Yarmouth, brothers Robert (Jim), Halifax, and Bruce (Chester).Judy will also be missed by her special brother in-law Jeff and his wife Carmelle and Aunt Faye. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 2-4pm Tuesday in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A Celebration of Life will be held later Tuesday evening at 7pm from the funeral home chapel, Sherrie Bushen officiating. Due to family sensitivities please be scent-free.
