BAKER, Clyde David – age 83, passed away on August 14th, 2026, at Wynn Park Villa, Truro. Born January 6th, 1943, to the late Chester and Vera (Weston) Baker.

Throughout his life he worked on the Coast Guard boats, the nickle mine in Thompson Manitoba and drove a transport truck for Day and Ross.

Clyde is survived by his brother, Sidney (Gail); his son, Rickey (Sandra): daughters, Annette (Randell) and Vicki Burns (Garnet); grandchildren, Lindsay, Matthew, Tyson and Kale; step grandchildren, Michael and Terry.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Norma; stepsons, Terry and Kirby; as well as sisters, Shirley and Carrie and brother, Carmen.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A graveside service will take place at 1:00pm on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, at the West Gore Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Clyde can be made to the MS Society of Canada.
