Dearest Sean & Karen, Caroline & Stan and family,
Having lived so very far from my Maritime cousins, I only had the opportunity to visit several times as an adult, most recently just 2 years ago. It was always so wonderful to get together with my Weatherup kin; I felt the connection immediately and feel blessed have known my Aunt Mildred. My trips East (several times bringing my Ma with me ) and our visits with Uncle Bud, Aunt Mildred and my cousins remain very special memories. Our follow-up chats on the phone over the years, though infrequent, were often long and filled with more "connections".
Your tributes to your Mom - both her obit and the beautiful slide show of her life over the decades - are a reflection of a life well lived, filled with happy family times and many adventures taken.
My thoughts continue to be with you in the days and weeks ahead.
