George Andrew Terrance Isenor Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of George Andrew Terrance Isenor on June 18th, 2026, in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born June 1st, 1954, in Lantz, he was the son of late Lloyd and Francis (Ashley) Isenor.
Farming was his passion, fishing his favourite but family was his greatest treasure.
George is survived by his mother, Francis; sons, Terry (Natalie), Jason; granddaughter, Jessica (Walter); great grandchildren who will miss him dearly, Colton, Regan, Piper, Grace, Adrain, Marion; daughter in-law, Lisa; siblings, Nellie (Herb), Cindy, Paul, Gerald; sister in-law, Debbie; nieces, Sandi, Holly, Sammy; nephews, Chuck, Doug, Lenny, Jamie, Grant, Micheal, (who George had nicknames for each one); several great nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, George was predeceased by his spouse, Kathaleen; son, Adam; siblings, Howard, Leo, Brenda, Jeff in infancy; niece Amanda; brothers-in-law, Bernard & Beldy; sisters in-law Wanda & Vanda.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 4th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Burial will take place at a later date.
