What a wonderful and fitting remembrance and tribute to Derek. As mentioned he was one of the good guys and a special person. He will truly be missed by all those who had the privilege of working with him - not only his expertise, but the quiet, supportive, and conscientious way he did his job and worked well with everyone. I will miss our informal lunches swapping fishing stories, chatting about general interests, friends and family, and his dry sense of humor. Our sincerest condolences and prayers to his family during this time of loss and remembrance. May his memory continue to bless your lives!
