Penny Lynn (Godard) Nash,  cherished wife, mother and friend, passed away from her lengthy battle with cancer on May 28, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on February 3, 1970 in Cornwall, Ontario, she was a daughter of Helen Poitras (Godard) and the late Ronald Godard.

Penny  lived a life filled with compassion, creativity, and unwavering love. She was the heart of our family and home, always ready with a warm smile, a listening ear, and a gentle word.

She was a proud and loving mother of three children and lived her life for them. Penny shared a close bond with sister, Lisa Rouleau, Tom and her nephews Brodie and Blake.  

Penny leaves behind her devoted husband, Andrew and children, Megan, Adam, Connor, as well as countless friends whose lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness will live on in all of us.

She enjoyed crafting, baking and decorating for the holidays.  Penny loved long walks on the beach with her husband.

Penny started working for Costco in 1992 until her illness.  She held different positions throughout her years and was passionate about everyone.  She touched many people and made a lot of good friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ettinger Funeral Home, 860 Highway 2, Elmsdale , on Tuesday,  June 2, 2026 from 2 – 4PM, with personal remarks being shared at 3 PM.

Donations in memory of  Penny can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
