Willard Kenneth Ellis Obituary

ELLIS, Willard Kenneth - Born July 1945, Will was born and raised in Stewiacke. He spent most of his life in the town and knew just about everyone. You could always hear Will say no fools, no fun so I must be a fool. He always was smiling and had a laugh that you could not forget. He was a valued, life member of the Stewiacke fire department.


 


Will passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2026, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. He is survived by his brother, Ernie (Eleanore); sister, Earlene; children, Pam (Scott), Patty (Steve) and Hal (Denise). He has four grandchildren whom he loved more than anything, Jarod, Kasey, Summer and RJ and his great granddaughter Shasha.


 


Will was predeceased by his wife, Janet; his parents, Rena and Earl, and his brothers Ronald, Gerald and Jimmy.


 


Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A Graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, at Pine Grove Cemetery, 3056 Alton Rd., East Stewiacke.


 


Donations in memory of Willard may be made to the Diabetes Association.


 


He will be missed.
