LEE, Harold Robert “Bob”- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Lee, of Bedford, NS., which occurred on May 5, 2026 at the Q. E. II Halifax Infirmary Site.

Bob was born in Beaufort, N.B., on April 16, 1934 to the late Joseph Hugh and Lucy May (McEwan) Lee. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Bob was educated in N.B. and attended Moncton technical school after graduating he worked for CBC Halifax in the T.V. Technical department until his retirement in 1989. Bob loved reading, the outdoors and sports. Some of his favourite activities were walking, jogging, riding horses, bicycles, golfing and recreational mountain climbing. His favourite sports were baseball, hockey and golf. After retiring he really enjoyed candlepin bowling. Bob was caring, helpful person who loved his family very much.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith (Weaver), in-laws, Arthur Weaver, Kempt Shore, N.S., Diane and Doug Price, Surrey, B.C., Sheryl Weaver, Elmsdale, N.S., Peter and Marlene Weaver, Sydney, N.S., many nieces and nephews in N.S., N.B., and P.E.I., Ont., and B.C.,

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Donations may be made in memory of Bob to a charity of choice.
