Albert David Ross Obituary

ROSS, Albert David88, of Enfield, passed away on March 29, 2026. He was the son of the late George Roland and Enna Matilda (Wellwood) Ross.

He worked hard all his life starting an early age. He enjoyed 20 years of retirement until his health started to decline. He loved camping, bluegrass festivals, puttering in the yard mowing the grass and his daily visits to the grocery store.

He is survived by his daughters Debbie (Chris), Susan (Kevin) son Wayne (Lisa). His grandchildren Leigh, Matt (Desiree), Ashley (Gary), Tannis (Roman), Rachael, Brittney (Peter), Great grandchildren Liam James, Sadie, Stanley, Ernie, Wade, Kane and Kaelynn, his cousins Alec and Mac.

Liam and Ernie will carry his name into the future. He was very proud of the boys having his name.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 69 years Theresa (Benere) sister Judy (Charles) and son Terry. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie. A graveside service will take place at 2pm on Saturday, May 23, at St. Bernard’s Columbarium, followed by a Celebration of life at the family home, 32 Old Horne Settlement Road.

Many thanks to VON home care and Colchester East Hants hospital as well as EMS for their kindness and care over the last years. Donations to any of these worthy causes would be appreciated.
