BENERE (GRAHAM), Cynthia Darlene, age 68, of Enfield, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2026, surrounded by family.  Born in Oldham, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Myrtle (Whidden) Graham.

Cindy spent her life enjoying it to the fullest. Proud to be an "Oldhamer", she never said no to a good party and generally speaking, could party anyone under the table. In her younger years, that was tagging along with her older siblings. The youngest of 10, she had many people to pay her attention. Growing up with a large extended family including many nieces and nephews close to her age, there was always someone to have a party with. Many cherished friendships from her youth lasted into her later adult years. Her connection with her sisters, brothers and nieces/nephews were relationships she adored throughout her life. Always willing to help however she could. 

Once Cindy had children, she took on motherhood and treasured every minute of it. She was there for every scabbed knee, hockey, soccer or horse show. And supported her family as they grew up into adults. There were many family adventures to the camp at Cousins Lake, camping, bluegrass festivals usually with many extended family- music, food and many good times together. 

Once grandkids came on the scene, Cindy took her role as Nana very seriously. She loved to spoil them any way she could and loved having sleepovers, taking them camping and spending as much as time as possible with them.

Cindy is survived by her children, Courtney (Heather) Benere, Patrick (Deanne) Benere and Katlyn Benere (Matt Kent); grandchildren, Tom, Alexander, Layne, Owen, Jamie and JP; sister, Patsy Davis; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Douglas, Vernon, Junior and Laurie; sisters, Marjorie, Heather, Lillian and Mabel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Enfield Legion on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, commencing at 6PM with words of remembrance.  

Floral tributes will be welcomed, as Cindy loved her plants and flowers.  

The family wishes to thank Kristen and James at EHS for helping Cindy to be at home during her final hours.  Your kindness will never be forgotten.
