CASEY-PAINTING, Wendy Elaine – age 58, of Beaverbank, formerly Upper Rawdon, passed away on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Wendy was a daughter of Kathleen “Kaye” (Hines) Casey  and the late Norman Casey.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Painting;  mother, Kaye (Hines) Casey; sister, Lynette Casey (Mark Smith); niece, Shelby Page (Dane).

Wendy is predeceased by her father, Norman Casey and infant daughter, Emma Sanford.

Cremation has taken place under the care and directions of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. 

A private family graveside will take place at a later date.
