Earlene Blanche Isenor Obituary

ISENOR, Earlene Blanche – 90 of Dutch Settlement, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Born in Dutch Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Viola (Isenor) Ashley.


Earlene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent many hours putting together puzzles, knitting, gardening, cooking for her family and making her special Christmas shortbreads for all to enjoy as they did. She was always up for going dancing as well as camping and playing washer toss.


She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her loving family, daughter; Jane Isenor, son; Peter (Donna), grandchildren; Mandi (Dustin) Jodrey, Erika (Chris) Jackman, great grandchildren; Theodore and Russell Jodrey, sister; Sandra (Ira) Gloade, numerous nephews and nieces.


She is predeceased by her loving husband; Garfield, brothers; Warren, Reginald, Donald, Grant and sisters; Pansey and Lenna.


Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes , Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 1pm in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Jane Magrath officiating.


Donations may be made in Earlene’s memory to St. George’s Anglican Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
