Obituary of Edward William Preeper
PREEPER, Edward William - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Edward “Ned” Preeper, on February 2nd, 2026 at the age of 99. He was born on January 11th, 1927 in Lantz, where he lived the majority of his life.
Dad loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors and especially enjoyed time spent at his favourite places in Moose River. We grew up listening to the many tales about his adventures.
Dad was a founding member of the LVFD and Elmsdale Masonic Lodge. He was a life long member of Christ Church in Lantz and long standing past member of the OES and Philae Shriners.
Dad worked for many of his younger years as a barber and the majority of his career was selling parts on the road for Ford, which he loved.
Dad is survived by his son, Terry (Rose) in Lantz and his daughter, Cindy (Cory) in Elmsdale.
He was predeceased in 2022 by his wife, Irma.
Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday February 14th, 2026 at Christ Church, Lantz.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the “Christ Church Cemetery Fund Lantz”.
No visitation or reception at Dad’s request.

Dad did not want anyone to mourn for him so please raise a glass in his honour and celebrate his 99 years!
