COOPER, David Ronald, age 45, of Elmsdale, passed away December 16, 2025.  Born in Halifax, he was the son of Ron and Kim (Goodman) Cooper.

David grew up a happy active youth. He enjoyed playing softball and basketball. He was an outgoing, caring person until mental health issues and addiction robbed him of the enjoyments of family and friends. Although this caused strain on his relationships he was loved and will be deeply missed.

Besides his parents, he is survived by sons, Gavyn and Rylan, whom he loved and was very proud of. Also, aunt Kelly (Ross) Branch; uncle Kevin (Kathy) Goodman; aunt Cindy (Ken) Hougham; and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A private funeral service will take place at a later date. David will be interred next to Nanny in the spring.
