GRIEVESON, “Ted” Edward George – age 82, of Enfield, formerly of Georgetown, Ontario where he and Carol raised their family. He passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Born in Toronto, he was the son of the late George and Ina (Nelson) Grieveson.

Ted enjoyed; golfing, his hot tub, travelling, especially his golf trips with his buddies to Cuba, spending time on his deck having a cold drink, watching the birds, sports, especially the Blue Jays, Maple Leaf’s and the Argo’s. Ted was a lover of animals, especially his beloved cat Callie. Most of all Ted loved to be around family and friends. Those who were apart of Ted’s life were always welcomed to “Club Ted bubbles and brew”. Ted was a loving and caring husband to Carol of 58 years and father to their four adopted children. 

Ted is survived by his loving children; Scott (Shirley), Terry (Amanda), Lisa, Sheri (Darren); special niece, Donna and her children; brother, Bill (Joanne); grandchildren, Alex, Riley, Cody, Jillian, Kelsea, Mikaela and Jacob.

He was predeceased by his wife, Carol (2021); and brother, Bob (2015).

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Donations in Ted’s memory may be sent to the SPCA Nova Scotia or the Canadian Red Cross Nova Scotia.
