Courtney Nicole Marshall-Sylliboy Obituary

MARSHAL-SYLLIBOY, Courtney Nicole –age 37, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at the Colchester East Hants emergency department, where exceptional care was received. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Pias Marshall and Frances Sylliboy.

Courtney survived by her sons, Colton Douglas Joseph Sylliboy-Harnish and Steven John Jr. Sylliboy – Bernard; brothers, Joey Green and Burt Sylliboy; sisters, Shawnee Sylliboy, Cherie Brooks, Shylo Marshall, and Holly Marshall; many nieces, nephews, cousins; god daughter, Kianna LaPorte; and so many friends from all over the world.

Courtney was the proud mother of two boys, who were the center of her world. She had the biggest heart and a natural gift for making others feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Always giving of herself, Courtney found joy in creating and sharing with those around her. Through Majestic Beads, she designed and handcrafted beautiful creations, pouring love and intention into every piece she made for others.

Courtney was also the creator of the community Facebook group Indian Brooks Hot Topics, where she brought people together and created a safe, inclusive space for connection, conversation, and community — all while making sure everyone stayed “in the know.” She had a way of bringing people together, whether through creativity, conversation, or simple acts of kindness. Courtney’s generosity, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and community will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
