MACPHEE, Brian Ira - 08/08/1953 - 12/15/2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Ira MacPhee, age 72, on December 15, 2025. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. 

Brian was raised in Elmsdale, NS, by parents Vernon and Lilian. From the beginning, he had a love for learning and a strong work ethic. He graduated from TUNS with a degree in Industrial Engineering and went on to have a long and distinguished career. 

He was an avid sports fan and could often be found outside - working in his garden, watching the birds, or at the grill, making his famous burgers. Above all else, he deeply loved his family and took great pride in being the best husband, Dad, and Opa that anyone could ask for.

Brian is survived by his wife of 50 years, Becky; daughters, Natasha (Kraig), Nicole (John) and Jessie (Andrew); grandchildren, Lily, Dylan, Molly, Alistair, and Lachlan; and sister, Heather (Fred). He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity by countless other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Hwy 2, Shubenacadie, NS., from 6-8pm on Friday, December 19, 2025.
