Obituary of Shawn Hartley James St. Onge

Please share a memory of Shawn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

ST. ONGE, Shawn Hartley James Roger, age 53, of Enfield, Nova Scotia, formerly of Campbellton, NB, passed away December 11, 2025 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, NS.  Born in Ghana, he was a son of Marion (Miller) Richard and Roger St. Onge.

Finding each other in their late 30's, the love that he and Tracey shared was evident every time they looked at each other. One look and you could see the love, joy and pride in his eyes

Outside of his passion for music, his family was his greatest joy. Anyone who knew him would tell you if it wasn’t his daughters, then it was music and movies he was talking about.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tracey (Daniel) St. Onge; daughters, Kimberley Daniel and Margaret Daniel; granddaughter, Hayleigh Harroun; sisters, Sharon, of Ontario; Shelley, of BC and Kimberly of NB; stepmother, Veronica St. Onge; stepfather, Roger Richard; mother-in-law, Mary Daniel; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

There has been a GoFundMe created to help us honor him in the way he deserves:

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger’s Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
