HINES, Clara Jean - It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Clara Jean Hines of Truro, formerly of Maitland on November 21, 2025, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Born in East Noel, she was the eldest daughter of the late Ralph Preble and Verna (Mumford) Hines.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Henshaw; daughters, Judy Beach (Stanley) and Kim Brightman (Randy); grandchildren, Matthew White, Matthew (Carmen) Brightman, Shannon (Blair)Torgerson, Stephanie Beach and Siobhan Allen (Ray); great grandchildren, Megan, Ty, Cash, Hazel, Marley, Fox and Rory; great great grandchildren, Brody, Kian, Bobby, Ares, Atrius, Olivia and Acaduis.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Stanley Hines; sisters, Ruth and Betty and brothers, Joel, Douglas and Robert.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.
