MILBERY, Irene “Reenie” – 84 of Enfield passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the QE II Infirmary site with her niece Terrie by her side. Born and raised in Lantz, August 4, 1941, she was the youngest daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Ettinger) Carroll.
Irene is survived by stepchildren, Lana McMichael, Dawn Winter, grandsons, Kyle, Ben and Noah, brother Freddie Carroll, sister, Erma Fraser.
Irene was predeceased by her son, Greg Hamilton, husband, George Milbery, partner Lawrence Miller, brothers, Vernon, Arthur “John”, Murray, Archie and sister, June Cole.
Irene worked at CIBC for many years, to this day she still uses a ledger, and her bank book is balanced to the penny. She had many friends and looked forward to the afternoon meetings at Concorde Way also Tuesday morning coffee at Tims.
A woman of grace, wisdom, kindness, laughter, a second mother and grandmother, but most of all love.
A private graveside service will be held in the Spring of 2026 in Christ Church Cemetery, Lantz.
