LAWRENCE, Lily – age 73 of Enfield.

It is with sorrow hearts we announce the passing of Lily Lawrence. Lily was born on November 22, 1951, to the late Eldridge and Nina (Webber) Blakeney and passed on September 11th, 2025, at the Dartmouth General Hospital with family by her side after a short battle with cancer.

She was married to her husband, Merrill for 45 lovely years. Her son, Philip was her pride and joy, they were inseparable from the moment she first held him, they were partners in crime. She enjoyed going shopping and getting Chinese food with her daughter in law, Kerri-Anne, they would also like causing trouble together. She enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping, listening to music and she loved her grandbabies, Ripley and Blackie the cats. 

Lily leaves behind her husband Merrill, of Enfield; her son Philip (Kerri-Anne) of Enfield; sister, Myrtle (Stanley), brother, Lindsay and many special nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Ruby, Colleen, Earl (Margret), Howard (Karen). 

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
