GRAUZZ, Zaneta Keziah, age 63, of Dartmouth, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2025, at home. Born in Halifax, she was daughter of the late Jack and Catherine (McKenna) Zinck.  

Growing up, Zaneta had a very rough childhood, which also rolled into her adult life. She had several medical conditions which caused her to be bound to a wheelchair for most her life. However, that chair did not hold her back. She loved going to the movies, and she enjoyed the company of her friends. Zaneta loved telling stories, and boy, did she have a lot, she was a real dreamer. Zaneta was a keeper of all things and loved to craft. She had a special love for Giraffes, and cats, as those were her favorite animals.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin McDonald, and their cat, Caleb, who held a very special place in her heart.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother and best friend, Alex.  

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.  At this time, there will be no funeral service. Zaneta will be laid to rest in a very private ceremony, in Shubenacadie, at Preeper Hill Cemetery.
