Faye Curry Obituary

CURRY, Rena Faye – age 78 of North Salem, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 31, 2025.


Faye was a manager at Fred C. Morrisons Ltd. for many years and volunteered at the Shumilacke Food Bank for 15 years. Faye was an avid and talented quilter. She had a passion for gardening. She had a very social schedule.


She is survived by her daughter Tanya (Blair) O’Neil- Urquhart; sister, Carole (Burton) MacPhee; grandchildren, Troy Fraser, Dillon (Areil) Fraser, Delaney O’Neil-Urquhart, Declan Urquhart; great grandchildren, Averie and Oliver Fraser and daughter by heart, Rachael (Nathan) Weagle; nieces, Vanda (Jim) Palmer, Cathy (Carl) Barr, nephews, Marty MacPhee, Vance (Sharmon) MacPhee.


She was predeceased by her husband, David Curry; her parents, Harley and Clara Zwicker, brother Richard (Judy) Zwicker and niece, Sherry (Jamie) Hannam.


Cremation has taken place; there will be no funeral or visitation. Donations in her memory can be made to the Shumilacke Food Bank.
