Knockwood, Annette - age 69 of Indian Brook, born January 28, 1956. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annette Knockwood on August 14th, 2025, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Annette was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, godmother and aunt. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Keptin Irvin Knockwood and the late Annie (Beadle) of Indian Brook. 

Surviving are her siblings, Sharon and Stephen Knockwood (late Colleen Knockwood) both of Indian Brook; son Arvin Knockwood (Logan Gehue); grandchildren, Hazley Gehue, Drax Knockwood, Quill Knockwood, Orion Knockwood , Jaici Syliboy; godchildren, Brian Knockwood, Ivan Knockwood, Annie Knockwood, Doreen C. Knockwood, Garnet Brooks, Caitlin Isnor; many nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends. 

Annette was predeceased by her sister Doreen E. Knockwood; brothers, Benjamin T. Knockwood “Tommy Hutt” and Garfield F. Knockwood “Gary”.  

Annette lived a colorful life brimming with love for her family, especially her grandkids, and exhibited kindness and joy. Her presence touched countless hearts and she will be profoundly missed. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Annette was an avid hockey fan and hockey season will never be the same without her hockey sass. She was known for her artistic abilities in bead work and crocheting; she often crocheted winter hats for the children in the family. Annette was also a Lady of the Saint Anne’s Sodality in Sipekne’katik. 

We would like to take this time to thank everyone that was involved in her care and to thank you for your words of comfort also at this time.  

Annette will be brought home to rest at her residence at 200 Robinson Rd, Indian Brook on August 18th, 2025, visitation will begin at 2 pm. A celebration of Annette’s life will be on Thursday, August 21st, 2025, at 11 am at St Kateri Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook. A burial will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Indian Brook.
